The Udine International School is seeking enthusiastic, experienced, and immediately available candidates for the position of On-Call Substitute Teacher at our Preschool. The ideal candidate is a reliable professional ready to step in at short notice to maintain a safe, nurturing, and educationally enriching environment for our young students.

Key Responsibilities
• Immediate Coverage: Respond promptly to calls for substitute coverage, sometimes with very little advance notice, and arrive at the facility ready to work.
• Classroom Management: Assume responsibility for the classroom, following the lesson plans and daily schedules established by the absent teacher.
• Student Care: Provide consistent care, supervision, and attention to all students, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Curriculum Implementation: Implement age-appropriate activities, including reading, crafts, games, and outdoor play, that align with the Preschool's educational philosophy.
• Communication: Maintain professional and effective communication with co-workers and the school administration.
• Policy Adherence: Uphold all school policies, safety regulations, and licensing standards.

Qualifications and Requirements (MANDATORY)
• Prior Experience: Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience working with preschool-aged children (typically ages 2-5) in a licensed childcare or educational setting.
• Language Fluency: Full and impeccable command of the English language (reading, writing, and speaking) is required.
• Immediate Availability: Must be available to accept substitute assignments on an immediate, as-needed basis during school hours ( 8:30 AM to 4:00PM]).
• Professionalism: Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, flexibility, and a professional demeanor.
• Background Check: Must successfully pass all required background checks and fingerprinting, as mandated by state/local regulations.
