Role Overview
The Planning Manager serves as a strategic and operational bridge between commercial demand (Sales Enablement) and operational manufacturing (Supply Chain Management). Responsible for leading the Planning function, this role owns the end-to-end translation of aggregated rolling sales forecasts into actionable production forecasts, explodes Product Families into specific Type Numbers (SKUs), and manages customer quota allocations across short-term (0–3M) and medium-term (3–6M) planning horizons.
The role enforces strict order promising gating rules, governs capacity allocation consumption, arbitrates cross-functional demand urgencies with Product Strategy function, and leads exception handling for allocation over/under-consumption and component shortages.

• Rolling allocation & quota management
• Medium-Term capacity planning
• Order promising gating & lead time governance
• Escalation management & exception governance
• Cross-functional alignment and sales and operations facilitation
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or Economics.
• 5+ years experience in Demand Planning, Master Scheduling, or Integrated Planning.
• Deep expertise in ERP/MRP demand planning modules (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, etc.).
• Proven mastery of ATP/CTP allocation logic, MPS scheduling, and product family disaggregation.
• Advanced data modeling and analytical capabilities (Advanced Excel / SQL / PowerBI).
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
 
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to work effectively either independently or in team
• Fluent in Italian and English (B2/C1 level), both written and spoken.
• Holder of a valid work permit for Italy

We offer a permanent contract - 6 months probation period and a salary range between € 50.000,00 and €60.000,00, depending on experience and requirements.
