Performance development engineer (Thermodynamics)

Position
As a Performance Development Engineer, you will work in a skilled engineering team focused on developing and improving the steady-state and transient performance of the gas engines.
You will collaborate closely with teams in emission, combustion and gas analisys. You will deep dive into engine parameter and test benches experts.

Workplace type: hybrid (50% Austria and 50% remote)

Tasks
Your work will combine simulation and engine testing to optimize engine power, efficiency, emissions, and transient behavior.
You will be involved in test planning and execution on both single- and multi-cylinder engines, data analysis, and validation activities.
Analyze measurement results with interpretation, conclusions and reporting.

Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
Initial experience in internal combustion engine development or thermodynamics
Good communication skills in English (minimum level B2)
Strong analytical and teamwork skills
